*Overlays aren't recommended over 3/8" roof decks

DISCLAIMER - The above lengths are recommendations only. Consult a local contractor or material representative for specific nail lengths. The National Roofing Contractors Association and the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association both suggest that the roofing nails should be long enough to penetrate the roof deck 3/4", or go completely through plywood or OSB type decking. If your roof deck is not wood, please contact RoofHelp for alternatives.
